استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية وفداً صينياً رفيع المستوى، برئاسة السيد “لي شي”، عضو اللجنة الدائمة للمكتب السياسي باللجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني، وذلك بحضور المستشار عبد الوهاب عبد الرازق رئيس مجلس الشيوخ، وسفير الصين بالقاهرة.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية المستشار أحمد فهمي، أن السيد “لي شي” نقل خلال اللقاء تحيات وتقدير الرئيس الصيني “شي جينبينج” للسيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي ، وهو ما بادله السيد الرئيس بتأكيد خالص تحياته وتمنياته الطيبة للرئيس الصيني.
كما شهد اللقاء تثمين الجانبين لعلاقات الصداقة التاريخية التي تربط مصر والصين على جميع المستويات، الرسمية والبرلمانية والشعبية، وتأكيد الحرص المتبادل على مواصلة تطوير التعاون الثنائي، في ضوء الشراكة الاستراتيجية الشاملة بين البلدين الصديقين.
وفي ذات السياق، أعرب المسئول الصيني عن رؤية بلاده الإيجابية لما شهدته مصر خلال السنوات الأخيرة من تطور تنموي لافت، يهدف لبناء قدرات الدولة ونهضتها، منوهاً في هذا الصدد إلى جهود تطوير محور قناة السويس، التي تعكس الموقع الاستراتيجي الفريد لمصر بين الشرق والغرب، والتحسن المُطرّد في مناخ الاستثمار، مشيراً إلى اتساق الرؤية التنموية المصرية مع مبادرة الحزام والطريق الصينية. كما أشاد السيد الرئيس بالتجربة التنموية الصينية المتميزة، مؤكداً توافر فرص عديدة لتحقيق الاستفادة المتبادلة للبلدين، وجرى في هذا الإطار استعراض جهود زيادة التعاون في مجالاتٍ عدة، من بينها التبادل التجاري، وتوطين الصناعة ونقل التكنولوجيا والطاقة، وكذلك السياحة والعمل المناخي الدولي.
وأوضح المستشار أحمد فهمي المتحدث باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أنه جرى تبادل لوجهات النظر بشأن سبل حفظ السلم والأمن الدوليين، حيث عرض الجانب الصيني رؤاه في هذا الشأن، وأكد السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي حرص مصر على الإسهام الإيجابي في التصدي للتحديات الراهنة التي تواجه المجتمع الدولي، وتعزيز العمل الجماعي الدولي المشترك، بما يحافظ على السلم والاستقرار، ويدفع في اتجاه إصلاح منظومة الحوكمة المالية الدولية. كما تطرق اللقاء إلى تطورات الأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط، حيث أعرب الوفد الصيني عن التقدير للدور المصري الفاعل في استعادة وترسيخ الاستقرار والتنمية في المنطقة، سواء من خلال مكافحة الإرهاب، أو عن طريق العمل على تحقيق التسوية السياسية لمختلف الأزمات بالمنطقة.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a high-level Chinese delegation, headed by Mr. Li Xi, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. The meeting was attended by Speaker of Egypt’s Senate, Counselor Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razek, and the Chinese ambassador to Egypt.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said Mr. Li Xi conveyed the greetings and appreciation of Chinese President Xi Jinping to President El-Sisi, which the President reciprocated by confirming his sincere greetings and good wishes to the Chinese President.
The two sides valued the historical friendship between Egypt and China at the official, parliamentary and popular levels and affirmed their mutual keenness to continue developing bilateral cooperation, in light of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two friendly countries.
The Chinese official expressed his country’s positive view with regard to the remarkable development Egypt has been witnessing over the past years, which aims to build the state’s capacity and renaissance. He highlighted efforts toward the development of the Suez Canal Axis, which reflects the unparalleled strategic location of Egypt between the East and the West, as well as the steady improvement in the investment climate. The Chinese official confirmed that Egypt’s development vision aligns with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. President El-Sisi lauded China’s outstanding development experience, underscoring the numerus opportunities available to achieve the two countries’ mutual benefit. The two sides reviewed efforts to cultivate closer cooperation in a multitude of fields, including trade, the localization of the industry, technology transfer, energy, as well as tourism and international climate action.
Both sides also exchanged views on ways to maintain international peace and security. The Chinese side outlined its vision in this regard. President El-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s commitment to positively contribute to addressing the current challenges facing the international community and to enhancing joint international collective action to maintain peace and stability and move on the path of reforming the global financial governance system. The meeting also reviewed developments in the Middle East. The Chinese delegation expressed appreciation for Egypt’s active role to restore and solidify stability and development in the region, both through combating terrorism and achieving a political settlement to the various crises in the region.
