الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي تلقي اتصالاً هاتفياً من رئيس الوزراء الماليزي “أنور إبراهيم”

تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً من رئيس الوزراء الماليزي “أنور إبراهيم”.
وصرح المستشار د. أحمد فهمي، المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية، أن الاتصال شهد الإشادة بالحراك الإيجابي في العلاقات الثنائية بين مصر وماليزيا خلال السنوات الأخيرة، وأعرب الجانبان عن تطلعهما لمزيد من التقارب، خاصة على صعيد زيادة التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري، بالإضافة إلى مجالات التعاون الثقافي والتبادل التعليمي، وذلك في ضوء العلاقات التاريخية الأخوية بين البلدين.
وأضاف المستشار الدكتور أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي أنه فيما يتعلق بالأوضاع الإقليمية، تم تناول الجهود المصرية لوقف إطلاق النار وإنفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية إلى قطاع غزة، وثمن السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي في هذا الإطار حرص ماليزيا على المشاركة في تقديم المساعدات الإغاثية إلى أهالي القطاع.
ومن جانبه حرص رئيس الوزراء الماليزي على تأكيد تقدير بلاده للدور المحوري الذي تقوم به مصر لقيادة وإدارة عملية إدخال المساعدات رغم العراقيل والصعوبات الكبيرة في هذا السياق، مؤكداً دعم بلاده لجهود مصر المكثفة لوقف الحرب وحقن دماء الشعب الفلسطيني وإرساء السلام في المنطقة.
وقد توافق الجانبان كذلك على التشديد على خطورة أية تحركات عسكرية إضافية لما سيكون لها من عواقب كارثية على المأساة الإنسانية في غزة، وأهمية اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسئولياته القانونية والإنسانية والسياسية تجاه الدفع بجدية نحو الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، وتفعيل حل الدولتين، بحيث يمكن تجنب زيادة عوامل التوتر واتساع نطاق الصراع في المنطقة.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said the two sides lauded the positive dynamic in Egyptian-Malaysian bilateral relations over the past years. President El-Sisi and Prime Minister Ibrahim affirmed strong commitment to forging closer collaboration between the two countries, mainly in terms of boosting economic, trade and investment cooperation. This is, in addition to enhancing cultural cooperation and educational exchanges, given the historical and brotherly relations between Egypt and Malaysia.
With regard to regional developments, the call touched on Egypt’s efforts to secure a ceasefire and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip. President El-Sisi valued Malaysia’s keenness on providing aid relief to the people of the Strip.
Malaysia’s Prime Minister confirmed his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in leading and managing the delivery of humanitarian assistance to Gaza despite the enormous impediments and hardships encountered during this process. Prime Minister Ibrahim emphasized Malaysia’s support for Egypt’s massive efforts to stop the war, end the bloodshed of the Palestinian people and establish peace in the region.
There was a convergence of views with regard to the gravity of any additional military movement which will have catastrophic consequences on the already dire humanitarian tragedy in Gaza. The two sides also agreed on the necessity for the international community to assume its legal, humanitarian and political responsibilities to push, in earnest, for an immediate ceasefire and the implementation of the two-state solution. This will help avoid increasing tension and the expansion of the scope of the conflict in the region.
