الرئيس السيسي ألتقي الملك عبدالله الثاني بن الحسين عاهل الأردن على هامش انعقاد المؤتمر الدولي للاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة في غزة

التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية مع الملك عبدالله الثاني بن الحسين، عاهل الأردن، وذلك على هامش انعقاد المؤتمر الدولي للاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة في غزة بالمملكة الأردنية.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الزعيمين أكدا قوة وعمق العلاقات التاريخية الممتدة بين البلدين الشقيقين، والإعراب عن التقدير لما تشهده العلاقات الثنائية من توافق وتنسيق مستمر بين قيادتي البلدين تجاه القضايا الإقليمية والدولية.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء تضمن التوافق على أهمية مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور تجاه تطورات الأوضاع في قطاع غزة، وهو ما تجسد في الدعوة المشتركة لعقد مؤتمر الاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة في غزة، إيماناً من الزعيمين بضرورة التحرك الفوري والعاجل لحشد الجهود الدولية لمواجهة الكارثة الإنسانية التي يتعرض لها القطاع، محذرين من التداعيات الخطيرة لإستمرار العمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية، ومؤكدين ضرورة التوصل إلى وقف فوري ودائم لإطلاق النار في قطاع غزة وحماية المدنيين.
كما شدد الزعيمان على رفضهما لأي محاولات لتهجير الفلسطينيين خارج أراضيهم، ودعوتهما لتكاتف الجهود الدولية لتحقيق التسوية العادلة والشاملة للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين، الذي يضمن إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية، ذات السيادة، على خطوط الرابع من يونيو ١٩٦٧، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, on the sidelines of the Emergency International Conference on the Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza, which is hosted by Jordan on the Dead Sea Coast.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said the two leaders underscored the robust, deep, longstanding and historical relations between the two countries. They expressed appreciation for the alignment between Egypt and Jordan and their ongoing coordination on regional and international issues.
During the meeting, President El-Sisi and H.M. King Abdullah II agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and consultations with regard to developments in the Gaza Strip, which was embodied in their joint call to convene the Conference on Urgent Humanitarian Response for Gaza. This call was grounded in the two leaders’ firm belief in the vital need for immediate and urgent action to mobilize international efforts to address the massive and dire humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the sector. The two leaders warned against the perilous repercussions of the ongoing Israeli military operations and emphasized the imperative need to reach an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to protect civilians.
President El-Sisi and Jordan’s King reiterated their categorical rejection of any attempts to forcibly displace the Palestinians from their lands, and reaffirmed their call for concerted international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive settlement to the Palestinian issue, based on the two-state solution. This solution shall ensure the establishment of an independent, sovereign Palestinian State, along the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
