الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي التقي اليوم بالبحر الميت مع رئيس المجلس الأوروبي “شارل ميشيل”

التقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية ، اليوم بالبحر الميت، مع رئيس المجلس الأوروبي “شارل ميشيل”، وذلك بالبحر الميت على هامش انعقاد المؤتمر الدولي للاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة لغزة.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن اللقاء شهد تأكيد متانة وعمق العلاقات والشراكة بين مصر والاتحاد الأوروبي، خاصة عقب ترفيع العلاقات إلى مستوى الشراكة الاستراتيجية والشاملة مؤخراً، مما يفتح الباب أمام مزيد من تعزيز التعاون في ضوء الروابط والمصالح المشتركة التي تجمع الجانبان.
كما تناول اللقاء الأوضاع في منطقة الشرق الأوسط خاصة التطورات في قطاع غزة، حيث تم تأكيد أهمية تضافر كافة الجهود للتوصل لوقف إطلاق النار وإنفاذ المساعدات الإنسانية بصورة مستدامة إلى كافة مناطق القطاع، مع التحذير من التداعيات الكارثية الأمنية والإنسانية الناتجة عن توسيع العمليات العسكرية في المناطق المكتظة بالمدنيين، حيث أشاد رئيس المجلس الأوروبي في هذا الصدد بجهود الوساطة المصرية، مشدداً على دعم الجانب الأوروبي لكافة الجهود التي من شأنها أن تحمي المدنيين وتسهم في معالجة الأزمة الإنسانية التي يعانيها أهالي القطاع. كما تم تأكيد أهمية تكاتف الجهود الدولية لتطبيق حل الدولتين وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية، بوصفه السبيل نحو تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، والضمان لمنع تجدد وتوسع الصراع مستقبلاً.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the meeting confirmed the strength and depth of relations and the partnership between Egypt and the European Union, especially after relations have been elevated to the level of strategic and comprehensive partnership, opening the door to further strengthening cooperation in light of the common ties and interests that bring together the two sides.
The meeting reviewed the situation in the Middle East, especially developments in the Gaza Strip. Both sides emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to reach a ceasefire and provide access to humanitarian aid in a sustainable manner to all areas of the Strip and warned of the catastrophic security and humanitarian repercussions resulting from the expansion of military operations in areas crowded with civilians. The president of the European Council praised Egypt’s mediation efforts, stressing European support for all efforts that would protect civilians and contribute to addressing the humanitarian crisis from which the people of the Gaza Strip suffer. The two sides stressed the importance of uniting international efforts to implement the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, as the way towards achieving security and stability in the region, and the guarantee to prevent the reignition and expansion of the conflict in the future.
