الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي تلقي اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الصومالي “حسن شيخ محمود” تناول سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية

تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الصومالي “حسن شيخ محمود” تناول سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية، حيث أكد الرئيسان ترحيبهما بالزخم الذي يشهده التعاون بين البلدين في الفترة الأخيرة، وحرصهما على توسيع آفاق هذا التعاون لتشمل مختلف المجالات، بما يتفق مع الروابط الأخوية بين الشعبين، وقد أكد السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي في هذا الصدد حرص مصر على أمن واستقرار وسيادة الصومال الشقيق على أراضيه، ودعمها له في مواجهة مختلف التحديات الأمنية والتنموية.

كما تناول الاتصال الأوضاع في منطقة القرن الأفريقي، حيث أكد الرئيسان حرصهما على ضمان أمن واستقرار منطقة البحر الأحمر وخليج عدن، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على القرن الأفريقي وشعوبه، وشددا على رفض أي إجراءات أحادية من شأنها الإضرار باستقرار المنطقة، منوهين إلى ضرورة التزام دول الإقليم كافة بأطر التعاون، بما يحقق الاستقرار والتنمية لشعوبه.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. The two Presidents reviewed ways to enhance bilateral relations, and welcomed the recent momentum in the two countries’ cooperation. They underscored their keenness on expanding the prospects of this cooperation to include an array of sectors, in line with the brotherly ties between their peoples. President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt’s commitment to Somalia’s security, stability, and sovereignty over its territories, and confirmed its support in the face of the various security and developmental challenges.

President El-Sisi and President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud also discussed the situation in the Horn of Africa region. They emphasized their commitment to ensuring the security and stability of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden region, which positively reflects on the Horn of Africa and its peoples. The two Presidents confirmed their rejection of any unilateral actions that could undermine regional stability, reiterating the importance of all regional states’ commitment to the frameworks of cooperation to achieve stability and development for their peoples.
