أجرى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً بالرئيس الرواندي “بول كاجامي”، توجه خلاله السيد الرئيس بالتهنئة للرئيس الرواندي بمناسبة فوزه في الانتخابات بفترة رئاسية جديدة، متمنياً له التوفيق والسداد، ومؤكداً حرص مصر على مواصلة العمل المشترك، لتقوية أواصر الأخوة والتعاون التي تربط بين البلدين، بما يحقق تطلعات ومصالح الشعبين الشقيقين، فضلاً عن استمرار التنسيق الوثيق بين البلدين في مختلف الأطر الإقليمية والقارية.

ومن جانبه، ثمن الرئيس الرواندي تهنئة السيد الرئيس، مؤكداً مواصلة بلاده العمل على تعزيز التعاون مع مصر على مختلف الأصعدة، في ضوء العلاقات الأخوية والتاريخية التي تجمعهما، وكذا تكثيف التشاور بين الدولتين بشأن الموضوعات والقضايا المطروحة على الساحة الأفريقية.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame.

President El-Sisi congratulated President Kagame on his reelection, wishing him success. President El-Sisi underscored Egypt’s keenness on continuing collaborative efforts to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and cooperation between the two countries so as to fulfill the aspirations and serve the interests of their peoples. President El-Sisi also emphasized Egypt’s commitment to maintaining close coordination with Rwanda within the various regional and continental frameworks.

President Kagame valued President El-Sisi’s gesture and affirmed his country’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Egypt on all levels, building upon the fraternal and historical relations they share. He also highlighted the need to continue intensive consultations between the two countries on issues and topics of mutual interest on the African arena.
