الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي تلقي اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الكيني “ويليام روتو” تناول العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين

تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الكيني “ويليام روتو” تناول العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، حيث أكد الرئيسان الطابع الوثيق للعلاقات بين الشعبين، وتطلعهما للارتقاء بكافة مجالات التعاون، ودفعها إلى آفاق أرحب خلال المرحلة المقبلة، بما يتسق ومصالح البلدين الشقيقين وحرصهما على الحفاظ على النمط الحالي من التنسيق، اتصالاً بدور البلدين الفعال على الساحة الأفريقية، وعمق العلاقات التاريخية التي تربطهما.

وأشار المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية إلى أن الاتصال تناول عدداً من الموضوعات المطروحة على الساحة الأفريقية، حيث ناقش الرئيسان سبل مواجهة التحديات التي تتعرض لها القارة، مشددين على أن التعاون والتنسيق بين الدول الأفريقية الشقيقة، يعد عاملاً أساسياً لدعم جهود تحقيق الاستقرار والأمن والتنمية لجميع شعوب القارة، واتفق الرئيسان على مواصلة التشاور المكثف خلال الفترة القادمة بشأن جميع القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from President of Kenya, William Ruto. The two Presidents discussed bilateral relations and underscored the close ties between the two peoples. President El-Sisi and President Ruto confirmed that they look forward to further advancing bilateral cooperation across all domains and to promoting relations toward broader prospects in the coming period to serve the interests of both Egypt and Kenya. This is driven by their commitment to maintaining the ongoing pattern of coordination, and comes in line with the two countries’ effective roles in the African continent and the historical relations they share.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said the call tackled a multitude of issues on the African arena. President El-Sisi and the Kenyan President also focused on ways to address challenges facing the continent and stressed that cooperation and coordination among African countries are essential to support efforts toward achieving stability, security and development for all peoples in Africa. The two Presidents agreed to continue intensive consultations in the coming period on all issues of mutual concern.
