تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً، من الرئيس الموريتاني محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني، أكد الرئيسان خلاله حرصهما على دفع مسيرة التعاون بين البلدين لتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات بما يتفق مع الروابط الوثيقة بين الشعبين الشقيقين، ويحقق تطلعاتهما ومصالحهما المشتركة، وقد حرص السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي على تأكيد دعم مصر لرئاسة موريتانيا الحالية للاتحاد الأفريقي، بما يحقق أهداف شعوب القارة في الاستقرار والتنمية.

وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الاتصال تناول كذلك التطورات الإقليمية، سواء فيما يتعلق بالأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط، وكذا على صعيد عدد من القضايا من بينها الجهود الجارية لدعم مسار الحل الليبي الليبي، وحرص الدولتين على الحفاظ على وحدة وسيادة ليبيا الشقيقة واستعادة الأمن والاستقرار بها.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al- Ghazouani. The two presidents affirmed their keenness to advance cooperation between the two countries to enhance bilateral relations across various fields, to be commensurate with the close ties between the two brotherly peoples, and achieve their aspirations and common interests.

President El-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s support for Mauritania’s current presidency of the African Union, so as to achieve the goals of the peoples of the continent for stability and development.

The Spokesman for the Presidency said the call addressed regional developments, including the situation in the Middle East, among other issues, including the ongoing efforts to support the Libyan-Libyan solution path, and the two countries’ keenness to preserve the unity and sovereignty of Libya and restore security and stability in the country.
