استقبل السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية ، اليوم، السيد “كلاوديو ديسكالزي” الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة إيني الإيطالية للبترول، وذلك على هامش معرض مصر الدولي للطاقة “إيجبس 2025”.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن رئيس شركة إيني الإيطالية إستعرض نتائج أعمال الشركة في مشروعاتها في مصر خلال الفترة الماضية، وخطط الشركة الحالية والمستقبلية لإستكشاف وإنتاج الغاز في مصر، مؤكداً حرص الشركة على علاقتها الإستراتيجية مع مصر، في ضوء الدور المصري المحوري كمركز إقليمي لتداول وإنتاج الطاقة والغاز المسال، وبالنظر الى الفرص الواعدة والإمكانات الضخمة التي تذخر بها مصر في هذا المجال.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، أن السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي أكد في ذات السياق على حرص مصر على علاقات التعاون مع الشركة الإيطالية، مشيراً إلى أهمية قيام الشركة بتوسيع أنشطة وجهود البحث والاستكشاف والإنتاج في مصر، بهدف تحقيق الإستغلال الأمثل لموارد مصر الطبيعية وقطاع الغاز والطاقة، واستمراراً لمسيرة التعاون المثمرة ما بين مصر والشركة.
Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the CEO of Eni, Claudio Descalzi, on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2025.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said Mr. Descalzi reviewed the outcome of Eni’s projects in Egypt during the last period, as well as its current and future plans for gas exploration and production in Egypt. Mr. Descalzi stressed Eni’s keenness on its strategic relation with Egypt, in light of its key role as a regional hub for the trading and production of energy and liquefied gas, and in view of the promising opportunities and huge potential that Egypt has in this field.
President El-Sisi confirmed Egypt’s interest in enhancing cooperation with Eni, noting the importance of expanding the company’s research, exploration and production activities and efforts in Egypt, with the aim of achieving optimal exploitation of Egypt’s natural resources and the gas and energy sector, and in continuation of the fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Eni.
