الرئيس السيسي افتتح جلسة منتدى رجال الأعمال المصري الأوغندي بمشاركة رئيس جمهورية أوغندا يويري موسيفيني

افتتح السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية جلسة منتدى رجال الأعمال المصري الأوغندي، وذلك بمشاركة رئيس جمهورية أوغندا السيد يويري موسيفيني في إطار زيارته الجارية إلى مصر.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن الرئيسين شهدا بدء أعمال الجلسة الافتتاحية للمنتدى حيث ألقى المهندس حسن الخطيب، وزير الاستثمار والتجارة الخارجية، والسيد مويبيسا فرانسيس، وزير التجارة والصناعة والتعاونيات الأوغندي كلمات افتتاحية، كما تم عرض فيلم تسجيلي عن العلاقات الثنائية التاريخية بين مصر وأوغندا.
وأضاف السفير محمد الشناوي، المتحدث الرسمي، أن السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي ألقى كلمة خلال جلسة منتدى الأعمال أكد فيها تعاظم الفرص الواعدة لتعزيز العلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية بين البلدين الشقيقين، وفيما يلي نص كلمة السيد الرئيس خلال منتدى الأعمال:
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
“أخي فخامة الرئيس يويري موسيفيني، رئيس جمهورية أوغندا الشقيقة،
السيدات والسادة الحضور الكريم،
يسعدني أن أرحب بكم وبأخي فخامة الرئيس يويري موسيفيني، رئيس جمهورية أوغندا الشقيقة، في بلده الثاني مصر، وأن أعبر عن تقديرنا البالغ لانعقاد هذا المنتدى المهم، الذي يجمع نخبة من قيادات الأعمال في مصر وأوغندا.
إن انعقاد هذا المنتدى يجسد عمق الروابط وأواصر الصداقة الممتدة بين بلدينا الشقيقين، وإرادتنا الراسخة في توسيع شراكاتنا في مختلف مجالات التعاون لصالح شعبي البلدين الشقيقين.
السيدات والسادة،
إن مصر ترى في أوغندا شريكاً أساسياً في منطقة حوض النيل الجنوبي، ونسعى لأن تكون أوغندا من أكبر المستفيدين من الآليات المصرية المخصصة لدعم التنمية في دول حوض النيل.
كما نتطلع إلى الارتقاء بمستوى التعاون الاقتصادي وزيادة حجم التبادل التجاري، الذي بلغ نحو 133 مليون دولار في عام 2024، ونتطلع إلى مضاعفته بما يعكس إمكاناتنا المشتركة.
وفي هذا الإطار، نؤكد على أهمية الإسراع بتشكيل مجلس الأعمال المصري الأوغندي المشترك، وتكثيف تبادل وفود رجال الأعمال، وتشجيع الشركات في البلدين على مضاعفة صادراتها، خاصة في قطاعات الزراعة، والصناعات الدوائية، ومواد البناء، والأجهزة الكهربائية، وغيرها من المنتجات التي تلبي احتياجات أسواقنا.
أخي فخامة الرئيس،
إننا نعتبر انعقاد هذا المنتدى، بحضوركم الكريم، خطوة عملية لترجمة قوة علاقاتنا السياسية إلى مشروعات ملموسة تعود بالنفع على شعبينا، في إطار صيغة تحقق المكاسب للطرفين. ونحن على قناعة بأن القطاع الخاص ورواد الأعمال في بلدينا يجب أن يكونوا المحرك الحقيقي لشراكتنا في مجالات الاقتصاد والتجارة والاستثمار، وأن دور الحكومات هو توفير الأطر القانونية والسياسية الداعمة لازدهار هذه الشراكات.
وأعيد التأكيد أن مصر، كما كانت دائماً، تمد يدها إلى أوغندا، شريكاً وأخاً وصديقاً، في إطار من الاحترام المتبادل، وبما يحقق المصالح المشتركة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the Egypt-Uganda Businessmen Forum, with the participation of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, as part of his current visit to Egypt.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the two presidents attended the opening session of the forum.
At the opening, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Eng. Hassan El Khatib and Uganda’s Minister of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Mwebesa Francis delivered remarks. A documentary film was also screened on the historical relations between Egypt and Uganda.
President El-Sisi delivered a speech during the business forum session, in which he emphasized the growing promising opportunities for strengthening trade and investment relations between the two countries.

President of the Republic of Uganda,
Ladies and gentlemen, Distinguished guests,
It is my pleasure to welcome you and my brother, His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni, the President of the Republic of Uganda, to his second home, Egypt. I would like to express our deep appreciation for the convening of this significant forum, which brings together an elite group of business leaders from Egypt and Uganda.
The convening of this forum embodies the deep bonds and longstanding friendship between our two countries, as well as our firm determination to expand our partnerships in various areas of cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Egypt perceives Uganda as a key partner in the Southern Nile Basin region. We aspire for Uganda to be one of the beneficiaries of Egyptian mechanisms dedicated to supporting development in the Nile Basin countries. We look forward to enhancing the level of economic cooperation and increasing trade, which reached approximately $133 million in 2024. We aspire to double this amount to reflect our shared potential.
In this context, we confirm the importance of accelerating the formation of the Egypt-Uganda Joint Business Council, intensifying the exchange of business delegations, and encouraging companies in both countries to double their exports, particularly in the sectors of agriculture, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, electrical appliances, among other products that meet the needs of our markets.
Your Excellency, the President,
We consider the convening of this forum, with your esteemed presence, a practical step to translate our strong political relations into tangible projects that benefit our peoples within a framework that achieves mutual gains.
We are convinced that the private sector and entrepreneurs in our two countries must be the true engine of our partnership in the fields of economy, trade, and investment, and that the role of governments is to provide the legal and political frameworks that support the flourishing of these partnerships.
I would like to reiterate that Egypt, as always, extends its hand to Uganda as a partner and friend, within a framework of mutual respect and in a manner that serves our common interests.
I wish this forum success and our bilateral relations every prosperity.
