عقدت اليوم قمة ثلاثية بين مصر والأردن وفلسطين، بمشاركة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية ، والملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين، عاهل الأردن، والرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس، وذلك علي هامش انعقاد مؤتمر الاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة في غزة، بالمملكة الأردنية.
وقد بحث القادة خلال الاجتماع تطورات القضية الفلسطينية في ضوء المستجدات الراهنة، حيث أكدوا ضرورة الوقف الفوري والدائم لإطلاق النار بقطاع غزة وإطلاق سراح الرهائن والمحتجزين تنفيذاً لقرار مجلس الأمن رقم ٢٧٣٥ الصادر بالأمس ١٠ يونيو ٢٠٢٤ والقرارات الدولية والأممية الأخرى ذات الصلة، فضلاً عن تشديدهم على الوقف الفوري للعمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية في مدينة رفح الفلسطينية في ظل تداعياتها الكارثية أمنياً وإنسانياً، ومطالبتهم بالنفاذ الكافي والمستدام للمساعدات الإنسانية إلى كافة مناطق القطاع، وفتح المعابر البرية كونها الوسيلة الأكثر فاعلية في إيصال المساعدات الإغاثية، وانسحاب إسرائيل من مدينة رفح الفلسطينية.
وأشار المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية إلى أن القادة أكدوا ضرورة إنهاء الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للأراضي الفلسطينية، ودعوا لتكاتف الجهود الدولية لتحقيق التسوية العادلة والشاملة للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين، الذي يضمن إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية، ذات السيادة، على خطوط الرابع من يونيو ١٩٦٧، وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، وحل قضية اللاجئين الفلسطينيين وفق قرارات الشرعية الدولية، بوصفها السبيل الوحيد لمنع توسع الصراع وتحقيق السلام والاستقرار والتعايش بالمنطقة، فضلاً عن رفضهم للممارسات الإسرائيلية في مدن الضفة الغربية المحتلة، ورفضهم لأي مساس بالمقدسات الدينية أو محاولات توسيع الأنشطة الاستيطانية.
كما أكد الملك عبد الله الثاني ابن الحسين والرئيس محمود عباس على أهمية دور مصر المحوري في جهود الوساطة للتوصل لاتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار، ودعى الزعماء الثلاثة المجتمع الدولي إلى ممارسة أقصى درجات الضغط على إسرائيل لوقف جرائمها ضد الشعب الفلسطيني، والالتزام بالقانون الدولي ووقف عدوانها الغاشم ضد أهالي قطاع غزة.
Today, a tripartite summit was held among Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine, with the participation of the President of Arab Republic of Egypt, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, on the sidelines of the Urgent Humanitarian Response Conference for Gaza, held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The leaders discussed developments pertinent to the Palestinian issue in light of current circumstances. They emphasized the urgent and permanent cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, the release of hostages and captives in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 2735 issued on Monday, June 10, 2024, and other relevant international and UN resolutions. The leaders reiterated their call for an immediate cessation of Israeli military operations in the Palestinian city of Rafah due to its catastrophic security and humanitarian implications. They demanded sufficient and sustainable access to humanitarian aid to all areas of the sector, the opening of land crossings being the most effective means of delivering relief aid, and the withdrawal of Israel from the Palestinian city of Rafah.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said that the leaders emphasized the necessity of ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories, and called for international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution, which ensures the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian State along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as well as resolving the Palestinian refugee issue in accordance with international legitimacy, as the only way to prevent the expansion of conflict and achieve peace, stability, and coexistence in the region. They also rejected the Israeli practices in the occupied West Bank cities and any attempts to infringe upon religious sanctities or expand settlement activities.
Jordan’s King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein affirmed the importance of Egypt’s pivotal role in mediation efforts to reach an agreement to halt the hostilities. The three leaders called on the international community to exert maximum pressure on Israel to stop its crimes against the Palestinian people, abide by international law, and cease its brutal aggression against the people of Gaza.
