تلقى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس جمهورية مصر العربية اتصالاً هاتفياً من السلطان هيثم بن طارق سلطان عمان، تناول تطورات التصعيد الراهن بين الجانبين الفلسطيني والإسرائيلي، في ضوء التداعيات الخطيرة على أمن واستقرار المنطقة، والمعاناة الإنسانية المتصاعدة التي يتكبدها المدنيون بسبب النزاع، حيث اتفق الزعيمان على أهمية توحيد الجهود لحث جميع الأطراف على التهدئة وخفض العنف، واستعرضا الاتصالات الجارية في هذا الصدد. كما تم التشديد على ضرورة دفع الجهود الرامية للتوصل لحل عادل وشامل ودائم للقضية الفلسطينية على أساس حل الدولتين، وفقاً لمرجعيات ومقررات الشرعية الدولية، وبما يحقق الأمن والاستقرار لجميع شعوب المنطقة.

Today, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

The phone call focused on developments in the current escalation between the Palestinians and Israelis, in light of the grave repercussions on security and stability in the region and the escalating humanitarian suffering incurred by civilians as a result of the conflict. The two leaders agreed on the importance of unifying efforts to urge the parties to calm down and reduce violence. They also reviewed contacts underway in this regard. President El-Sisi and His Majesty the Sultan of Oman underscored the importance of advancing efforts aimed at reaching a just, comprehensive and durable solution to the Palestinian issue, based on the two-state solution, in accordance with the references and resolutions of international legitimacy, and in a manner that achieves security and stability for all peoples in the region.
